This week, this album: Trouble Will Find Me by The National

Trouble Will Find Me is the sixth studio album by American indie rock band The National, released on May 17, 2013. They have been active since 1999 and the latest album released was High Violet back in 2010. Highlights of this album are the great songs Demons, Don’t Swallow the Cap, Slipped.

I asked Rasmus Viberg from Swedish band Hurricane Love what he though about the album, here’s what he says:

This is without doubt the best album of this year so far. The voice and the music, it’s amazing. They’ve really capture an intimate feeling in every song and the mood that they build up is just insane!! But what I love the most is the sound, it’s so simple and so brilliant. Favorite songs are Humiliation and This is the Last Time” – Rasmus Viberg.

The album features appearances from St. VincentSharon Van EttenDovemanSufjan Stevens, Nona Marie Invie, of Dark Dark Dark fame, and Richard Reed Parry, of Arcade Fire.
